This policy explains what personal data this site processes, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you visit, the server receives technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer and browser type. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Hostinger.
To stop abuse of the signup form, the site counts requests per IP address. The count is kept in memory only and is discarded after 15 minutes.
Free chapter signup
When you request the free chapter, we store your email address, the time of the request and which form you used. We use it to send you one email with the chapter (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not send newsletters or further emails, and we do not share your address with anyone.
The data is stored in a database at Hostinger and the email is sent through Hostinger's mail service. We keep your address until you ask us to delete it. Email info@sweguidetoinvesting.com and we will delete it.
Cookies and consent
We use Cookiebot, a service of Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark, to ask for and record your consent. Cookiebot stores your choice in a cookie named CookieConsent for 12 months and logs your consent with an anonymised IP address, as we are required to prove consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, § 25 TDDDG). Scripts that need consent are blocked until you give it.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: . See also the Cookiebot privacy policy.
Fonts and Amazon links
Fonts are served from this site, so no data is sent to Google or other font providers. The Amazon store we link to is chosen from your browser's language settings, in your browser; nothing is sent to us or to a third party for this.
Amazon receives data about you only if you click a link to it. From then on, Amazon's privacy notice applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Email info@sweguidetoinvesting.com to use any of these rights.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.
